The Anime is kinda ruined for me, the games are more canon.

I haven't really watched the show since Johto which I think ended in 2001. I still enjoy the Pokemon designs and what not and I can understand the appeal of the games.

Most of my opinions on Pokemon at this point is based on appearances and how I believe a Pokemon would look in motion.

All that aside, I think I only like 4 of the intro songs:

Orange Islands
Johto
Battle Frontier(It was weirdly catchy)

Before they changed the VA's in the English dub, sure. Definitely beats the hell out of watching most of the crap currently on TV.

But I generally go for some Duck Tales or Aladdin (tv series), or some other variant from when I was a child.

It really is a badass though. lol

The Eeveelutions are pretty fragile but iirc, Sylveon can be built up pretty well.
