Sigh... students are starting to get a lot of prejudices against Americans. Apparently they see a lot of... certain person/s in the news, and now some freak out when they see me. Special needs class had to be canceled cause a kid screamed "foreigners should all be killed" x_x.

Does the person who screamed that hate Americans or are they trying to become one?

Give that kid an "A" and never turn your back on them....

Wish I could, very little control over the very strict curriculum though. Plus these kids are young, they likely don't entirely get what they're saying and why they say it, and some of it likely comes from their parents. I live in the boonies, and the boonies of any country can carry some shelled in mindsets.

The crazy thing is they may not get this reference! This region is soo incredibly sheltered with their history lessons. A couple teachers were legitimately shocked when it came up that Japan and America were at war... and I know how to read Japanese "pretend we don't know to ease the mood" stuff. It's crazy. Recent favorite was teacher thought US was 1000 years old. When I told him my family came from Italy he couldn't accept that I was still American because of that and the concept of immigration xD.

Was intense even with that OP Noctis. X Slash made things tricky. Had to think about my turns sometimes. I'd probably be able to do it without Noctis but it would've been so much more of a headache.
