like i said, if you want accessories and a good phone, go S7
if you want a clean purist OS go Yeah. Probably going S7 I think.
Just wanted to know if there were any strong arguments for the Pixel or something new I'm not familiar with. I wish there were more legit options, but meh. Hurray USA telecommunication monopolies.

while fancy and all, don't go for the Edge. is more of an annoying gimmick, cause you'll be touching that screen accidentally when holding or managing your phone.
another option, very similar to the Pixel, is the One Plus 3 tho it is kinda of an obscure phone, but decent alternative too. or the HTC 10 (I love it's official case)  True. The other day Lina ran out of my buffs at the beginning of Gubal HM, I told her I wasn't healing her because of it. I didn't heal her the entire run.

Yeah. Not going with the Edge. My buddy has one, who has about the same size hands as me and says if you're a one-hand phone operator you'll always be pressing the Edge when you don't want to.
I'm not likely to get "excited" for a phone barring an overhaul in the standard phone design. I think they all look and behave remarkably the same. All I really want is something that performs well from a hardware perspective and isn't too invasive with its inescapable prepackaged bloatware*. *Bloatware that isn't even justified by keeping the price down anymore, because look into the HTC10 too, I had one of the previous version of it (before my S7) and it was a really nice sturdy phone, better shell than a Samsung as well IMO.
Aren't the HTCs Windows phones?

My current HTC M9 is an android phone still, so woo hoo!
Thing is as sturdy as hell. I actually got it as a recommended choice from Proth, and looking through all the other phones, plans, and data allowances. It's also got a lifetime guarantee from the manufacturer, as well as a direct 2 year warranty as part of the plan I'm on. So when my plan expires, I can just send it to HTC and they'll either fix it or replace it, free of charge.

My mom uses a Samsung, and it suits her, so she might get the S7 when it comes time to upgrade.
My brother is getting another iPhone, and I dunno why since he has issues with battery life, and the damn thing breaks the day after his warranty runs out. I'll more than likely get the new HTC10 once I need to upgrade.

Both of my parents got Iphones. Its been awful lol I have been an android user for so long I dont know how to work those things. Finally my mom gets it more than my dad so she shows him stuff

Apple's hardware seems decent enough. If they weren't Apple I'd probably get an iphone, but I just don't appreciate the way they do business and treat customers, so I'll be staying away.
I'll check out some things on the HTC though.

Watching this video. God so much time on the damn camera.
I realize not everyone keeps a DSLR around, but my camera is not the most important part of my phone, dammit. The micro-USB vs. USBC issue might hit home though b/c the S7 would let me not have to replace a bunch of accessories.
