Gathering gear does look better than some of the battle stuff TBPH!

i like my bohemian set. i was also a fan of the glacial coat. ffxiv has a lot of good stuff for glamours. so, in the end it doesn't really matter WHAT gear you have. i kind of miss the horrible mismatch gear in xi. like yeah... i might be wearing a bondage looking harness made out of pieces of scorpion and a pair of bright metal underwear, but I AM A BADASS.

Pretty much. It looks better for the MCH image. MCH is functionally combative but lore-wise it's almost a pseudocraft.

That's how it is until level 50 though lol, when you can do the glamour quest

You can with the "AF", which i think the 210 goggles were BIS anyway so it worked.

Just tome grinding makes those a turn off id assume.
