The best MCH rotation is to just play BLM.

I want the Revolver of the Wanderer.

I like top breaks, plus it looks better and more functional than other guns.

I loved the I210 models...my little sawed off double barreled shotgun. Wouldve preferred that model over the one handed Gatling Gun thing they gave us for relic.

I keep the Pre-Imperial revolver glam'd on. Reminds me of an old Colt.

Once you get the hang of popping on and off GB its not that bad. But yea, Turning all the ranged into either SMN or BLM turned me way off even before not being able to actually play the game because of PUGs.

SMN looked like it's be fun if I geared and practiced it.

Dont get me wrong: Iron Jaws is probably the best thing ever for BRD and then giving me something else to do than spam Heavy Shot until i either got a BL or a Straighter proc, so good. But if the only way they can "Balance" jobs is to turn them all into the two most basic casters,MNK,or some really weird version of SCH and WAR then i dont know what to look forward to after that.

Really hoping if they add SAM they make stance dancing between Hasso and Seigan a thing. REALLY.REALLY.WANT.

Finally broke down and im going to install Diablo III from my PC account...then i remember i never got RoS cause i quit after they super nerfed everything in the second week....F.M.L.

i got stuck in a 3 man dungeon and solo heal/dps'd a 3 man totorak. got 30, and now off to unlock smn.

Leveling in XIV is probably the most boring, yet most beneficial to extending content life, activity in the game. Its nice when you have 4 people leveling all the right classes but as soon as they log off and you start hitting queues its horrible to go from 1-60.

leveling has never been a problem for me. simply googling "ffxiv leveling guide" can give you easy access to the best leves and areas to do fates for your level. the bottleneck of ffxiv is that it follows the current trend of mmo's which is to provide a simple time/gear roadblock. you have to repeat the same dungeons over and over till your gear level progresses high enough to access the next. after a few cycles you spam the final content until you complete bis for your class and start gearing your groups next class.

this creates the max til update cycle that is exceedingly boring. the "good" thing about ffxi was that during treasures there was enough content that was just complete *** to have achieved. you had enough things to occupy yourself with that you didn't even mind that the most awesome pieces would be unobtainable for a long time. you could work everyday towards certain things and still never reach it. in xiv you hit join and wait for a random group to rush through the endgame content which you finish in repeating 15-20 minute runs. neither is "good" game design, but ffxi was more rewarding simply because the drop rates were worse and the time invested was higher.

understanding this i can still enjoy a play through of ffxiv on a new character knowing the best ways to level/gain gil and focus on enjoying the content. unless i find a group that i enjoy doing meh content with for the appeal will die quickly.

I quit trying after it became pointless to try and debate people that were clearly just arguing.

I miss when you could actually debate someone and you both walked away a little bit more informed on the subject. Now people just go NUHUH NO U and then scream at the top of their lungs so you cant get your point out.
