We don't really have chains here. We have pizza hut but it's so expensive so everyone just buys from local pizza places

And we can't get blizzards here, we don't have DQ (I assume that's what you mean)

Also called a "Flurry" by McDonald's and many places will use those terms interchangeably or use their own.
It's basically some form of other dessert-type food (cookies, candy bars, etc.) crushed up and mixed into ice cream.

I'm not going to deny it. There's only 1 place in San Antonio that serves decent pizza, and that's because these people came from NYC.
There are a few individual owned pizza joints here, but it's mostly Little Cesars, Papa Johns/Papa Murphy, and Dominoes.
If Texas is anything like NC in regard to pizza, you want to stick with Pizza chains like Pizza Hut and Papa Johns because private places are utter ***.
See, I've always been okay with chain pizza. It's not amazing, but it's not terrible either. It scratches the pizza itch and you always know what you're getting. If it's Pizza Hut or Dominos, it's always a hair or clump of hair in the pizza.
If it's Papa John's, it's an over priced piece of ***on baked dough.

Quote: The Daim bar, formerly Dajm in the Nordic Countries and Dime in the British Isles, is a crunchy almond toffee bar covered in milk chocolate. It is similar to Hershey's Heath and Skor bars.

*shrugs*
Opinions are like *** and I don't want to consume most people's!
I don't like any chain pizza as much as I used to, as Pizza Hut and Papa John's have both changed their pizza (Pizza Hut more drastically than PJ's) over the past 15-20 years to suit evolving tastes in their target consumer bases, to which I no longer belong. Domino's is actually probably my favorite chain pizza these days, but I don't order much pizza in general anyhow.
I mostly just make my own. Grab dough mix, sauce, and cheese from the Italian market up the street.
It's pretty legit, though it requires a lot of work and waiting, kneading dough and waiting for it to rise and the like.

I was gonna say.
It's a Heath bar!
I was always partial to Oreo of the traditional entries.
If I go to DQ I like the tropical (coconut, pineapple, macadamia nuts) or turtle (chocolate, caramel, pecan).
Edit: Not that I've had a Blizzard in about two years now. All other things aside, a small tropical is about a third of my daily caloric intake and isn't exactly packed with nutrition.

Quote: Daim was created by Marabou in Sweden and Freia in Norway in the 1950s. Marabou originally wanted to produce a version of the American Heath Co.'s bar; its vice president Lars Anderfelt inquired about licensing Heath's exact recipe. The Heath Co. refused but gave Anderfeldt a list of their ingredients. From this, Marabou created their own recipe, testing it in Stockholm in 1952 with great success. It was launched under the name "Dajm" throughout Sweden and Norway the next year, Finland in 1963, and Denmark in 1971. It was renamed "Daim" in most countries in 1990, although it continued to be marketed in the British Isles as "Dime". The brand was purchased by Kraft Foods in 1993 and is now held by Mondelez International, which Kraft spun off in 2012. The same year, its British and Irish factories began to use the spelling "Daim" as well.
They sell them at IKEA in some countries, have a look if you're ever there lol

Our DQ here does the tropical witout the macadamia nuts. So it's more like a Pina Colada. But when you ask for a Pina Colada, they all give you a confused as *** look.
Where I'm living now, the best pizza chain happens to be Little Caesar's.

I may be off on the nuts? I thought there were nuts in the tropical. Maybe not. It's been a long time since I had one at all, and probably twice as long since I've had the tropical; last time I had one it was a regional variant flavor anyhow that was a marketing team up with the Pittsburgh Penguins. It was like a turtle but also had little pieces of brownie in it.
Super good.

Was it just gross, bright yellow mustard?
Australia tends to share a lot of condiment items with the UK and America, and most restaurants' mustard is gross regular ol' yellow mustard.

Super good. Most of the places I've had the tropical included the macadamia nuts.
I do enjoy the peanut buster parfait though, but like John Oliver has said, "It's the only dessert in the world with the words "nut buster" in it for a dessert"

Jesus Christ this is expensive
It's a 9-serving candy bar.
roughly $2/serving doesn't seem that bad for imported chocolate.

This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
