A co-worker was talking to me about Aquaman last week. He mentioned two things that piqued my curiosity.
1) Aquaman once beat Superman in an arm-wrestling match. What? 2) Aquaman once LIFTED THE OCEAN to save a drowning Batman and Robin whose respirators malfunctioned. Like he literally swam to the bottom of the bay, crouched down, put his hands like he was gonna lift a box, but lifted the ocean itself. Water receded above Batman and Robin enough to reveal air so they could breathe again. That's insane. I'm trying to find the storylines these things happened in, but not having any luck.
