Not so sure about you though, man.
I mean, c'mon.
His weakness is the color yellow (or wood, if you want to go oldschool).
If you can be defeated by a VW Beetle, you don't get to be a super hero.
I'm more of a fan of the concept and what they can do with it.
Alan Scott's ring had no effect on wood, yeah.
Also, here's green vs yellow.
The Green Lanterns have performed some awe-inspiring feats:
*Kyle Raynor once contained an exploding supernova
*Kyle also fixed and maintained an alien life-support system that had several dozen planets dependent upon it
*Alan Scott willed a black hole into a worm hole to transport him and a bunch of others from Limbo to the JSA headquarters in NYC while simultaneously protecting them from the gravitational effects of said black hole
*Jon Stewart once had so much willpower that his ring said it exceeded the ring's capabilities:
*Hal Jordan defeated Krona, who is on or above Superman's level of strength and power. Like Darkseid.
*Another Green VS Yellow, and an example of how powerful the rings are...powerful enough to bend reality.
*Hal was once blasted through an entire planet, and came out just fine.
*Beating Superman is a feat held by very few people and all of those guys were beasts in their own right. Hal once went toe to toe with Superman, with the end result being a blast powerful enough to defeat Superman and the JLA members around them!
