I never said Howls was better dork! I said if you are introducing someone to anime it's smarter to start with Howls. It's just got a much broader appeal instead of niching someone's brains out from day one.

I'm thinking it was either the first Digimon, Pokemon, DBZ, Sailor Moon, or something like that.

I do remember the first studio ghibli movie I saw was Princess Mononoke. I also remember the first Gundam anime I ever watched was 08th MS team, and it's still my favorite Gundam me thinks.

I think my first Ghibli was Spirited away, then shortly followed by i believe it was Mononoke,
I would say it was Valley of the wind but that was pre-ghibli so its not really Ghibli lol

God damn. All the feels with that list.

Demon City was my first anime. Think second was the Project A-KO series or The Professional: Golgo 13.

My uncle was a part of an anime club where they would send you a new one every month. I was lucky to get animated violence and nudity into my brain at a young age.
