And the reason I don't make a patch thread is because people don't go to XIVPro, not even the ones who play the game. Most of them stay in RT and it's a thread about anything so what does it matter
You guys talk about XI in a chat thread that shows up on both sides of the site yet I can't post about XIV without it being excessive? Come on.

I think the worst thing about an update thread for FFXIV would be necro bumps. Like Drac said we don't all get as post-giddy about updates as XI people do, usually it is just Drac saying "check out what I put in RT" "Ooh neato".
A dedicated FFXIV Post Update thread would have just enough time in between major posts to give itself a big fat ugly necro bump each time. Maybe a suggestion box idea would be to look into a way to make a couple threads like that where they are immune to the necro bump timer thing so that nasty bar doesn't pop up?

Yeah, that's totally consistently frequent, and totally requires a necro bump thread. Maybe the mold you've been eating lately has gone to your brain, and you've confused FFXIV stuff, with the endless pages of waifu speak that goes on for pages at a time, days at a time, by numerous posters.
