My weapon was the Ryunohige. Dragoon became a bit of a badass with the right gear (which I have plenty of, with lots of TA, DA, Acc, Att etc.)

Just farming the alex solo on blu or pup became far too repetitive.

And ***happened.

I don't believe WAR became instantly irrelevant the momment SoA Came out,
My linkshell where still using Conqeuroreororsrsras till February last year, which was Alluvion Skirmish update.

HAHA, Yeah the funny thing is, theres a lot of WHMs who's done that on our server. Or they have a Yagrush, but their 1 set wonder WHMs, so basically aren't worth the time.
my Buddy Reain, whos largely helped farm most of it, has a Yagrush, but actually has no idea how to play WHM. XD

Theres a mini scourge on sylph server actually, that basically Yagrush is going to make you a bad WHM. Apart from maybe 2 or 3 WHMs, most WHMs on the server got worse post Yagrush and earned large reputations of being a terrible WHM, despite having Yagrush.

Same thing happened on Bismarck, but these *** used to be great white mages. Then they suddenly got worse so they wouldn't have to go whm when it counted.

I've seen similar things happen with other weapons, but yagrush is the most notable.

My linkshell where still using Conqeuroreororsrsras till February last year, which was Alluvion Skirmish update.
Basically Warrior was not good back then when compared to Mnks, and then SE powercreeped Sam up and the baseline of what kind of damage a DPS should do heavily increased for every job but War and Drk. SE gave most jobs some kind of major tool in SoA like Daken, Fudo, Rudras, SCs, whatever, and War got fencer buffs, because a job known for Gaxe needs fencer.

Maybe the irony is that "Isn't it ironic?" was a statement question and not an observation and that noone realized it for all these years.
