Hey Magnuss, do you like the original Twilight Zone?
Honestly, it was the first show of its kind to dare and go into the Romantic aspects of the human psyche, throwing at them classic concepts that go beyond the typical human imagination and offer up creepy twists that would be unrivaled until the birth of the internet and the inevitable "Creepy Pastas". Most shows on at that time didn't challenge audiences but were there for two reasons: to placate and to advertise. The Twilight Zone dared to do more, and entertainment as we knew it would forever be changed as the macabre was finally accepted by a larger populace. It was like televised Edgar Allan Poe.
Now, I personally haven't seen many episodes of it myself, but the few episodes I have seen have had me on the edge of my seat some 50 years after initial production.
So yeah, I guess I could say I like it. Respect it is a bit more accurate, in my opinion. I respect the hell out of it for what it's done for modern day cinematography.
