Do you ever find yourself not wanting to finish a book once you realize it is not going to end the way you want?

I finally finished the first book in a series and I wanted so badly for the main male protagonist to turn and go off on adventures with the main female character.

Yes it is a vampire series. No it is not *** twilight.

Yes

If it's at the start and I can already see the ending I might not, if it's close to the ending I will force myself just to not have to think about it again

I've learned to flow with the books instead of go against them in that case. Sometimes it can turn around and end up in a way you hadn't conceived and is better than you hoped for.

Horn Drill

Ugh... Alley was just watching a guy doing a Pokemon Yellow speedrun and screaming constantly. He was using Horn Drill a lot.

You mean a flashforward, or is it a permanent fixture? If it's permanent, I don't think we have a name for it, I think it just ramps up the pacing in the plot.

I'm not 100% sure on that answer, though. Maybe Google might be a better resource on this.

So there's this chocolate company who is making this weird campaign. Their chocolate bars have all a missing block so that you can "dedicate the missing chocolate block" to someone on social networks.

And apparently it works...so they're selling bars with less chocolate and making more profit out of it..
