Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?

For some reason I find myself missing the old days of XI. But if I went back, it'd never be the old days.
Plus my XIV character is perfection. *nods*
But my point is that in an MMO it's so exciting at the beginning. So much is a mystery, so many zones are unseen. I kinda miss that, I've missed it since 2004. >.>
The "old days" never left, the only difference is now you can do anything within a reasonable time and on whatever job you want (if you make your own groups.) Job point farming = old school exp style and merit point parties. Tons of side grade equipment from various content and battles, all nostalgia enemies are revamped with high stats etc. Same thing different year pretty much.

If it's current, I see 5 more jobs, some crafting and a lot of RME making yet to do ^.O
Sorry sir I care nothing of RME, neither I care about crafting.
Jobs I somewhat agree with you that I should at least "taste" them. But sir, you've at least dabbled in crafting.
Also you should get at least one weapon, for the lulz if nothing else.
Hence why I have Mjollnir.

my group would would queue up Burning Rangers while we ran the dungeons on PSO.
hella fun times, as we sang this.
this was before voice com was popular on games, so we ran text macros to sing it ingame lol

The old days thing is a attitude thing on the players more than anything else. The changes are simply the game trying to adapt so that so it can stay afloat.
I only have four people from my old friendship circles in FFXI who still play. I had a blast yesterday playing with them and trying some new contents. You know, that's what the game is about: experience.
Like that saying about what matter is the journey, not the destination.
I also had the pleasure of forging some new friendships in the last few months I played FFXI. For the sake of the old and new friendships I got, I sure want to play it regularly again.

I mainly play these games for my own interests these days, my eyes were opened after leading an LS and seeing "friends" and what they do lol. There are still new and unknown stuff though, for the next few months at least. Hope the mobile version is something entertaining, I know it won't be anything serious.

Is the bread jalapeño or the cheese jalapeño like a pepperjack cheese?
Never tried to make a pepperjack cheese grilled cheese with ham...
:| interesting... It's like bread with jalapenos and cheese mixed and baked in.

Big daddy Vegeta finally showed up with the event about to end and he let me have little babby Vegeta after I beat the crap out of him.
Now to try and get King Vegeta out of the other event before that ends in 2 days too...

For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
