»Has been happening to most groups. BG managed to clear without ilv200 weapons, think they're the only ones to do that so far. Everyone else got the extra tomes so they've had them since Tuesday. Should be a lot of clears tomorrow and throughout the week.
Elysium FC (Gilgamesh) were the first to clear it.

»If I remember correctly Muhammed and his followers met some hostility in Mecca and went to Medina to escape persecution. He then united the tribes in Medina under a constitution and a few years later he and his 10,000 man strong army marched on Mecca and took it over. After winning he destroyed all the pagan idols at the Kaaba.
I find it interesting that you put together a rather good summary to it.
Prophet Muhammad spent 13 years peacefully preaching in Mecca, during which he and his followers went through persecution that went as far as total boycotting for his tribe (no trade, no marriage, they were expelled to the outskirts of Mecca). Persecution was heaviest to people with weak or no families to protect them in that tribal society, like slaves. Some were killed under torture. At some point, he told a group of his followers to migrate to Abyssinia (Ethiopia) and seek their king's protection.
After 13 years, he met with tribal leaders of Madina who accepted his message (it was a reason to unite them and let go of decades of war) and offered protection, so he ordered his followers to migrate to Madina. Most of them left all thier possessions behind, as the Meccans wouldn't even give them a chance to pack and leave in peace. After most of his followers made it, he followed them. The Meccans planned to kill him before he'd left, and even tailed him on his trip.
In Madina, he established a constitution for all its residents: tribes of Arabs and Jews. A couple of skirmishes, followed by a few major battles with the Meccans ended in a peaceful pact that'd prevent the Meccans from bullying tribes that'd willingly accept Islam, and gives the Prophet and his followers the chance to visit the Holy Mosque (effective after a year has passed). The pact was breached by the Meccans in under a year (by attacking an ally to the Muslims), so he marched to them in a large army, and the Meccans immediately surrendered without bloodshed.
He still went back to Madina, where he passed away after 3 years, and it remained the political capital of the caliphate for over three decades.
Madina has the mosque that he established right after he first migrated to it from Mecca, next to which were the rooms where he lived. The mosque underwent several expansions over the centuries, and the room containing his tomb (one his wives' rooms, where he and the first two caliphs were buried) is found at the corner of the mosque.
