Got work today, skimping off an hour early tomorrow morning to go take my National Registry for Paramedic. Did a prep courses over the past couple of days.
Basically the most stressful and mind *** progressive computerized test I will ever have to take in my life. I have studied like zero for it... nope, totally not freaking out.
Took a Pre-National test as our final. We were required to make a 75% to pass the class, but why such a weird number to pass? Because apparently if you can make above a 75 you have a 90% chance of passing national on the first try. I made an 87 and finished 200 questions in like 30 minutes.
The client for Roberts Space Industries ’space exploration sim Star Citzen may be a 100 GB download, director of game operations Jeremy Masker posts on the developer’s official forum.
“As I have already said, I would not count on this. The game compression and asset removal is unlikely to yield such high gains that we will be able to reduce our client size to 30-40 GB,” he writes. “The size and number of assets that are left to deliver means that our client size is much more likely to be 100 GB.”
Masker adds that the patch sizes for the could range in size from an indie game to a full AAA release. “Also, yes we are optimizing game patching for speed and to only deliver diffs, but this is unlikely to reduce actual patch size. Again, each patch has 100s of assets, each of these assets are at times 200 MB, this leads to 2-6 GB patches, and if we end up doing a file type re-factor and have to re-download 30-40% of the assets on the hard-drive, then the patch will be 14-20 GB."
The space exploration sim is a shade off raising $75 million, at the time of writing. The game manoeuvred past the $69, $65 and $60 million USD goals over the past couple of months, achieving the title of largest crowdfunded project ever, beyond video games and any campaign on Kickstarter or similar sites to date.

And people complained that FFXIII / FFXIII-2 were 40-60GB downloads. PFFT. This will go over well..... xD
Scene:
I'm in the street, it's raining and I have my umbrella open.
Lady opens her window and looks down on me and calls to me "excuse me miss, is it raining?"
Once upon a time I played a vidya game where if you reloaded, any ammo that was in the clip you dropped was lost. Anyone know what game that was, I can't find it with my googles.
That Heavensward tour thing looked pretty good. Saw some funny things though. There was a PLD who used Flash 3 times for no reason, people were fighting normal mobs in groups, and just randomly standing around making emote motions.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
