The only thing I could find for Excel 2007 is something about downsizing the print resolution to 300dpi (default is 600dpi) - apparently that was causing some printing issues.
You should hand him a blank piece of paper and say "here is that data you collected"...
or screw with him more and be like 'you said you were collecting the data' and just act like you don't have anything.
In general group/paired assignments are terrible and I hate teachers that think they are good because of that scenario. No solo accountability and people get bullied/taken advantage of.
My lab partner was some dude who never showed up and then told me the last day, hey can you bring me our data to the exam? thanks

If you weren't in college I would say show up empty handed and say he forgot it. I did that to a girl in my high school. She wasn't happy but I didn't care she was a stupid *** lol.
