One of the best things I've got from Costco was a Roasted Pineapple & Habanero Sauce.
Though, they tend to run out of it because it's so popular and it's a bit pricey. Also, they use a bit too much sugar for my tastes.
Ingredients: Sugar, Pineapples (Pineapples, Pineapple Juice, Citric Acid, Ascorbic Acid), Lemon Juice (from concentrate), Cider Vinegar, Onions, Yellow Bell Peppers, Red Bell Peppers, Habanero Peppers, Mangos, Xanthan Gum, Natural Flavor.
So over the summer I decided to make my own and preserve it in these little canning jars, and stored them on top of the kitchen cabinets to look pretty until I needed to open one up. Still have quite a few left and a little goes such a long way.
I love the sweetness of the pineapples with the kick of the habanero. I wasn't able to get it to taste quite as good as what I bought, but I'd guess it's 5% close. A little too much heat, but I'm a fan spicy food. Also happy that I can control the amount of sugar I want to use.
I can't wait to try again, I love this stuff.
