Seriously...who makes an 1100 page text book. Who does that?!

Sadists.
No the real sadist is the professor who expects us to read 3-5 chapters a week before our one oh so enjoyable 3hr lecture.
Could be worse, could be 10-12 chapters.

Ever breifed a case?
Law school profs expect you to breif about 5 for their class, and read up on the relevant laws.

Lolwasf.
Only one brief required thankfully. For the most part it's just read all the boring stuff and review 1 case per chapter. So insanely boring.

Wait until you take tax accounting.

The entire Internal Revenue Code is one big trollface.jpg

I'm pushing that back as long as possible.

Point was to always pay with cash in Yale, OK but keep it in a shoe or something so you don't lose it all when you get mugged.

Dunno how people live there, there's one gas station which is price-hiked and the closest grocery stores are in Mannford or Stillwater.

Yeah that's why I don't leave central OK. It degrades rapidly the further away you go from OKC.

It will happen....

But you are lucky, at least you aren't learning this on the fly.

BTW, they finally figured out the Code Section for this law today. It's IRC 5000A, so if you ever want to impress your professors, you can always mention that.

Ugh.

The Property manager for the company I'm renting from believes that a Work Order gives maintenance crews legal unrestricted access to a tenant's rented domicile.

It doesn't. A work order is just that, an order or file that says work needs to be done on the items listed in the work order.

The only time it grants unrestricted access is if it's deemed an emergency, like with flooding.

A while back, I sent in a work order for the faucet in my kitchen to be replaced. Buggers entered, no notice of entry (which is required by law) or notice of work done (also required by law). Of course, the *** left behind some of his tools, but couldn't prove it because there wasn't a notice of entry.

I've only had to call in maintenance twice in roughly 2 years (mostly because they're incompetent, and work mostly as apartment clearers, from tenants who leave the premises permanently, and need the ***they left behind, gone.

The second time, I needed my oven door fixed (liability issue if I did it myself), and the guy said "did you know your oven door has no insulation in it?" Of course I had no idea, so I ask him about whether or not I need one with proper insulation in it, and he says "no".

Turns out it's a fire hazard, and is required by law to have properly coded insulation in the oven door.

Nah I don't get many chances to golf; only thing I would do is take family to mini golf or something if I'm in a city.
That was a Lebowski reference; Kevin Durant is a basketball player on the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Holy ***sauce only one brief... oh man make sure u read well that prof sounds like a sleeper.

"What standard should be used to determine the Supreme court's ruling on the denial of health services to the foreign born out of state resident victim of a car accident on an interstate Highway solely maintained by the state, but subsidized by the Federal Government."

Expect a question like this on the final, cus law profs are 50% ahole and 100% soul sucking demon leeches. (I KNOW ITS MORE THAN 100)
