So, I've got my heart set on a Moto X for my next phone, and I've looked into a Windows Phone in the past but the Windows app selection seems very limited and they don't have anything that really stands out...except one; Cortana.
Cortana is said, by some, to combine the personality of Apple's Siri and the information of Android's Google Now. Recently there has been talk of Microsoft seeking to port Cortana to Android and iOS.
Obviously, on iOS Cortana would just be an app, novelty at best but Android seems much more customizable, so I'm wondering just how Cortana will integrate to Android, or if one could actually customize the phone to layer Cortana over Google Now, thus replacing the Google Now widget bar with a Bing widget with Cortana functionality. Not that I prefer Bing.
I only actually use Siri when I'm bored, perhaps if Apple would implement a full time "Hey, Siri!" just as Android has it's "Ok, Google." even when locked, Siri would be more useful.
