Here in Brazil we take Christmas lights and decorations out on Jan 6th. It's the tradition.

Do Swedes dance around the xmas tree and sing? And put candy/food ornaments along with candles in the tree?

Our decorations came down the day after xmas.

Also, grrr. Tank in Qarn HM would do massive pulls then *** about me not keeping him alive when he himself would refuse to use any of his cooldowns at all. I think the only thing I saw him use was Maim. (temp buff wise) Divine Seal and Presence of Mind only go so far.

Interesting.

You have maypole celebrations? Cool.

Any Solstice/Skt. Hans day celebrations?

We have midsommar (which would be your Sankthans/Sankt Hans) and valborgsmässoafton

Quote:
"Valborg", as it is called in Swedish, has very little to do with religion and everything to do with the arrival of spring. The forms of celebration vary in different parts of the country and between different cities. Walpurgis celebrations are not a family occasion but rather a public event, and local groups often take responsibility for organising them to encourage community spirit in the village or neighbourhood.

We have biiiiig fires and drink a lot

Also normal looking Christmas tree

I'm not really the "dancing" type. Well, unless you count moshing.

And headbanging.

Oooh, could I headbang around the tree?

I don't think it had teeth to do so. Birds eat their food raw and chew in their stomach. They eat pebbles to help with that chewing.

Barn owls regurgitate balls of fur and bones which is all what remains from the mice they eat whole. lol

Ah. So many differences.

My friends family puts pebernødder (spice cookies) in julehjerte (christmas heart). But you can fill it up with brændt mandel (toasted almonds) or any candy.

Lot's of xmas cookies here, my favorite is brunkager, taste like ginger snaps. Or æbleskiver, like American pancake donut holes.

I was going off the premise of: if you're going to eat a human, don't do it whole, they have a tendency to try to fight back once inside.

Was amusing myself.

The only real Christmas candy we have is knäck but it's so damn good

This is what we have for lunch/dinner http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julbord

I only eat the prinskorv, ham, potatoes and w/e bread we have lol. Not very fond of traditional Swedish food
