It's based on Miyamoto Musashi's life though and that most certainly had an end
I think Inoue has already covered most of the story anyways...what's left isn't that significant

BUT....a fair warning: like Berserk, he'll never finish the story. So enjoy the artwork (and the story so far).
oh jesus, thank you for telling me that lol
No no, by all means go and read it! I highly recommend it. It'll be well-wroth your time. At least he didn't just interrupt the story during a heated arc or anything

xbox 360 (original) won't open the disk tray and every "tip" online is a failure . . .
have you tried opening via software?
i think you can force it open by removing the face plate and pushing the little button with a clip.
make sure it's off too.

Will the console boot up?

The only thing I can think of is starting the system up and go like you are starting a game. Usually it's the 'triangle' button to open tray.

Besides that, if you are trying to retrieve a stuck game, you may have to check if you can remove the face on the dvd tray and might find a manual release button (usually the size of a pin hole) or maybe the butter knife trick (but that I only know for sure to work with a PS2).

Here this might help, the manual release is actually on the left side of the console if it's laid down horizontally..

I tried all those and xbox support said they can fix it for 80-100$... basically the price of a used suxbox :(

the manual release won't open the tray?

then it's physically jammed and you'll most likely have to tear it apart.

Probably time for a new failbox, but if it doesn't have the RROD, I'll take it off your hands :P

I'll trade you though, I have a box of 360's but most of them need reballed, and it's something I don't have the equipment or skillset to do.

Replacing a dvd drive, that's easy.

If your failbox is failing to open the tray, it's because you left the tray closed for a long while without "exercising" it.

(I'm actually half serious about this)

There's a rubber band there which drives a pair of pulleys and that's what transfer the mechanical power from the tray motor to the tray gears. The rubber get oval and it stops transferring the rotation from the motor pulley to the bigger gear pulley (it spins loose).

Here's a pic of the phenomena at instructables:

http://www.instructables.com/id/Disassembling-a-CDDVD-reader-and-reusing-its-parts/step7/The-tray-mechanism/

Replacing the rubber ring and making sure the tray is properly cleaned and lubricated (with plastic compatible lube) will fix the issue completely.

Woohoo! Nothing like having to go to Fry's at 6 am to charge an M Power card because my electricity got shut off.

If that doesn't say "good morning" I don't know what does.
