Did you ever try a game called dark souls? Can't remember if you mentioned or not.

Mari logged, but I think he did. I remember talking to him about Dark Souls, and me comparing it to From's Demon's Souls and Armoured Core gameplay.

I then went on to (maybe unfairly, maybe fairly...at least IMHO) compare it to the old "bullet hell" style (弾幕) "dodge-the-pattern-or-die" shooter genre. Some personality types found that type of gameplay fun and rewarding, some thought it was for masochistic/OCD-types, instead. *shrug* :p Mari can chime in on his opinion of it, but I do remember talking to him about it. :)

At the time, I compared it more towards Armoured Core because the latest in the series had preceded the release of Dark Souls and I remembered that it had a similar 'feel' for mission-based custom-builds-strategy to fight bosses with devastating attacks, where you had to memorise attack patterns and safe areas.

It honestly wasn't that hard even on hardest difficulty. You can unlock all the parts on normal difficulty in both armoured core 4 and 4 answer.

Its mainly cause on levels were you fight a difficult opponent you can use all the parts you've unlocked to build the perfect mech to counter them. Or just use beam sabers. beam sabers work pretty good.

Reminds me of kingdom hearts 2 gummy ships where to even clear the hard *** and get all drops you'd have to customize your gummy every single flight to suit the boss

yeah but that's really only required for a scant few fights in 4. 4 answer its required a lot in the latter half of the game, but by then youll be able to keep your mech permanently airborne with certain parts combinations, so if need be you can literally just dodge until you win.

Time stamp for me is 21:20 and exactly correct. Central North American time

Going to assume that you're under DST at the moment, as otherwise that wouldn't make sense.

I'm going to guess that's where the server Scragg rents is, which is just weird.

It should really do it on it's own.

Maybe we could bug one of the Mods to inquire with the Scragg-sama when he's fiddling with code one day.

Setting it ourselves would be far easier on Scragg programming wise; Best to not increase your chances of him saying no.

I just assumed it was based on your IP location or something since mine was always right.
I do know a lot of sites request your zone, assuming it saves in a cookie.
