Origins. Downpour is fairly close hough.

Degrading weapon systems in survival horror games are ***.

Downpours story makes literally 0 sense. Most of the endings would require retconning the entire game to fit in. Murphy Pendleton is a shitty character. No Yamaoka music loses big points.

Origins purpose was to clear up some of the confusion of the plot of the original Silent Hill. Confusion that only existed for people who didn't read the memos placed throughout the game. Instead it confused it even more.

It also gave the town the ability to manifest the nightmare, even though the nightmare never existed before Silent Hill 1, when Alessa accidentally infused the towns spiritual power with satanic magic due to being impregnated with Satan.

The game paints Alessa as an evil person bent on annihilating the inhabitants of Silent Hill, despite 99.999999999999999% of the inhabitants being innocent of the crimes committed against her. Even though in SIlent Hill 1 she is painted as a good person attempting to seal the town off from the outside world so the nightmare doesn't spread any farther once she realizes what she did to it.

Just.. blegh.

The bosses were unique and were well themed. High point of the game for sure.

Random enemies were boring or over done. Human enemies is a big no no without really good reason for it. Story was ***, characters were ***. Cliched amnesia plot stolen from Silent Hill 2 was shitty. All puzzles but the final one were boring. Gray/orange color palette was boring. Pyramid Head fan service wasn't appreciated.

Combat wasn't bad though, bosses well themed, environment looked good. Well, besides all the the non-existant coal mine fire cracks in the street anyway.

Could always just use a mod that changes the starting sequence. I'm certain there's a few of those due to that same issue.

I accidentally clicked an ad, was for Anastasia Date. Went to a create a sign in page and at the bottom said "100% scam free."

Also a bunch of gorgeous women looking for dates, who's photos I can google search to model agencies and porn, and all I have to do is give you my credit card? Seems legit, no scams there.

Tbh you can easily make a really nice looking skyrim off a few mods right off the first page in the nexus' browse function, just look for ones with hundreds of thousands of endorsements and you usually can't go wrong.
