the ones that came with mine were corrupted, I have the software somewhere but several 3rd party apps will interface with it now, like psxmemtool iirc.

I keep it around for the lulz mostly. But in the blue moon I want to use it, I should figure out if it still works. The only alternative it seems is more of a pain.

Would increasing the DPI screw up things in game? Cause I can't seem to figure out why my game is only showing the upper left hand corner of everything >_>

It kind of occurred to me that the displayed resolution (despite the given setting) is far greater than 1920x1080. I changed it to 800x600 just to see what the issue was and it resized accordingly. But for some reason 1920x1080 is massive.

Well ***, turns out it is my DPI *** everything up. I've got quite a dilemma on my hands. Using default DPI is unacceptable due to my PC being run on my TV at a far greater distance than having a seated at a desk scenario.

Unfortunately increasing my DPI also seems to screw up how windower scales the game's resolution too. As seen in my last screenshot -.-

Flying kinda slow in that video though

It's the same as the normal movement speed; flying is just a way to get around while avoiding monsters. Used to use up AP to fly, but the DBO:R team is removing that restriction because it was kinda pointless.

Could make flying faster when you're high level? I mean they have ridiculous flight speed in DBZ

If I understand the hardware correctly it's going through some chips to make it work and not just a card slot reader, I'm sure it's hackable but probably not worth the effort (I just tossed 2 busted psx's too).

RS232 is a lot easier to program than usb, and yeah they made a USB version but I have the old RSR232 one, I'm not going to call it "serial" as technically both RS232 and USB are serial connections.

Loving double exp weekend!

Got my DNC from lvl 4 to 45 so far last night!

Time to rack up those merit points now for g6 and beyond!

Also I finally unlocked the subjob quest, although technically I haven't set it yet :P

Yay, fixed my UI and DPI issue! Turned out to be really simple. Now to stop my head from spinning at all the changes that occurred since my hiatus.

This is a private server; all the official servers closed down late last year. Everything will be in English (even the things that weren't covered in the English patch for the official servers).
It'll start from one of the earlier versions and release updates as usual like the original game (though leaving out updates that made things worse). Cash shop will also be done away with, though there's still debate on how to add cash shop items into the game (some will likely be tournament rewards). And content that was left out from the official release will also be added in at some point (when it'll be released will probably depend on how unfinished said content was), so I'm hoping we finally get to see the mechanic/engineer class for humans since that was apparently nearly complete before the servers shut down.

Also it was brought to my attention from someone in the linkshell that I should spend my sparks before I cap out. I really hadn't paid attention until recently. Finally made it to Aht Urhgan too, lol. So much to do!
