plus side: you have the chocobo world minigame without needing to import a pocket station and can easily manipulate it that way.

bad side: without a sound card that can properly handle the midi audio, it will probably sound like ***, and most people try to recode it as MP3, which isn't lossless, I wouldn't mind so much if they redid it in flac.

Honestly that's about the only differences I can think of. (well that and it can be a pain to get to work in Windows 7 if you have the original discs), I have a how-to floating around somewhere, with some links I think, but I'd have to go digging, I meant to get Krizz to upload the stuff somewhere at some point, but as the only person who was having trouble getting the files was Kawar, I didn't have much interest in it.

They put it out on steam some time ago now, from what I recall the only thing they did was add some achievements, pay for cheats system, cloud saving, and made it compatible with Win7+

I have the original discs if you just want those, most will still say it's better to run it emulated, as you can modify the settings better. The only real benefit from the PC version then is the chocobo world minigame.
