I like High Level DR because you don't have to play Labyrinth of the Ready Check Spam as many times to cap myth.

When I was working on my MNK CT body I would always try to get into in progress CTs to hopefully skip to the final boss. However getting an in progress run seemed to be very very rare. 9/10 I would get a fresh run. I'm also not the person who drops out over and over to wait on that in progress run so if it was fresh I just took it.

Even with the ready checks, it doesn't take too long.

Plus you can grab your weekly drop while your at it.

For me, it's rare to join a fresh run like that. Usually it puts me around Thanatos (either just before or just after).

As long as I get to skip the first 3 rooms (those adds take forever) I'm fine.

Mondays allways turn into derpga runs.. Sooo many trolls and *** in there then lol. Need to get the crimson hat, tho hoping the Allagen crown drops tonight

I'm hoping for MNK belt (which drops from Dragon) this week since I have company next week and hope to get MNK head by joining in progress to make things go faster lol.

I'll eventually have every CT drop.

My GPU is idling @ 20C and my CPU is 18-23C depending on the core. <3 my case + low ambient temps.

Trolls, idiots, people who dont listen, etc

I got booted yesterday from CT lol Tho it was with a good reason, it kinda made me sad.

So my alliance was 2 MNKs 2 DRGs (DF'd). We did fine til Atomos. I go to C and they sent us a BRD. I get them to do the tank-on-platform method. It didn't work. Not cuz of the tank but cuz a healer went afk.

Second try, before we start, I tell the DD that when ***looks like it's gonna fail, get off boss and help with adds and we send a monk to A who sends us a BLM. So now we have a split team but it should work, right?

It almost didn't. I was watching my team get almost wiped when I go in chat:
"Get off of boss and help with adds."

Noone moved.

"<se.1> Get off of boss"

Noone moved.

"<se.1> Get off of boss" spam til they *** moved.

BARELY made it.

5 seconds later, you have been removed for harassment. Kinda saw it coming but I feel bad for the replacement to join a bad party who doesn't listen.

mondays is filled with trolls, especially those that drop the run after getting their weekly item.

weekends are full of derps.

one of thee last times I did CT (haven't run it in 2 weeks) we wiped at the bomb room, because none of the tanks wanted to tank the big guy, so no one bothered to grab it and just roamed around the map killing people.
also, they went full derp on Behemoth.

You should just be like me and not care about CT at this point, mythos will have it's cap removed in a couple weeks so can just get mythos gear for other jobs.

Slowpoke here, but personally I don't play mmos for the shinies...but not even for the social aspect as people say. I've always played with 2 or 3 people at best(but mostly on my own), interacting with others drains my energies. As a matter of fact for some months I've been fairly hardcore at FFXI, but eventually it destroyed me mentally, I just can't take being in groups - and I mean even linkshells, not just randoms.
Personally I play for the routine aspect, I need a hobby like that, it eases my stress to just grind the same things cyclically, it's comforting to know exactly what to expect and to know I made that 1% progress that day. Sure I do want new things to do from time to time, but this is the main reason why vertical progression bothers me, the game moves fast and I don't want to watch it move faster than me, I want to move along with it, which is why I enjoyed Sidegrade Fantasy XI.

But anyway, we're all different, we all play expecting different things and it's silly to try to make another person like the same thing if what they seek is different.

my alt is PLD main and I find poking buttons boring as ***. Now that I have my Relic and decently geared, I'll prolly grab MT or OT as a last resort.

IF you're talking about the adds before behemoth, ***, I tanked that as i53 PLD. It's easy as ***.

The faster I +1 My weapons the better =p

It is cheaper to buy the Legendary edition of Skyrim then it is to buy the 3 DLC off Steam.

Bought Legendary for $30. All 3 DLC cost $45.

kinda, yes. Wed-Thu, is when I do the rough group events, and just finish off what I skipped over the weekend.

last week was odd. did 2 daily dungeons (70x2) and Coil 1-2, then capped the remaining Myths on Garuda ex/Ultima fights lol
