Best day ever! I got sent upstairs to surface mount LED boards this morning (hot dang I love surface mounting, so much better than through-hole soldering plus they stick me in the engineering office when I do mounting for them and it's so quiet and peaceful and no one pesters me and it's just the best!) where was I? Had a lovely time with surface mounting until lunch, then scouted a house that I like at lunch (we like the house we're in, but we're renting and we'd rather be buying.) Not sure if we'll get it or if we'll even try for it, but we gave it a quick once-over and I'm liking it! Plus I'm really nosy, so whenever I get to see someone else's house I'm happy. xD Then we went back to work and I surface-mounted some more and it was awesome! Came home and my package from Rooster Teeth was here and it was awesome! When I was trying to walk into my house, my sweetheart neighbor Sue gave me free sewing tutorials and patterns, and it was awesome! And one of the boys brought his darling pit bull to work and she was darling! And I have cake! And it's awesome!
And... you guessed it. Everyone else had a bad day. The internet at work went down, so none of the admin or engineering departments got anything done. One of the engineers was out for a trip and couldn't access his work email because our email was down so he couldn't see his flight schedule. The other engineer had a bajillion and two customer service calls, which are his least favorite thing ever. Since I was upstairs surface mounting LED boards, I was NOT downstairs surface mounting D boards. CCL needs D boards from me before she can stick wires through them. She had 44 boards left over from yesterday, which shouldn't have taken her more than an hour, IF that long. I left her all my surface mount stuff down there because she's capable of doing it, she just doesn't like to. She didn't. xD Don't wanna? Ain't gonna! So she made 44 boards and then did nothing else all day. My boss has strep throat and can't come to work. One of our autistic workers had a seizure. Somebody sent out one of our test prototypes labeled as a replacement for a customer on accident. And we finally got news about the glass guy that was hurt awhile back. He woke up, but since he was "dead" and without oxygen for over 12 minutes he's not quite back to what he was. Hot dang, Tuesday, settle down on torturing everyone!
There's something wrong somewhere when all the days when I wake up all enthused and cheerful, bad things happen to everyone else. Must find ways to wake up crabby for the good of the rest of the world!
