how do you deal with wisdom tooth pain?

It's a long term process, not usually something you can go to the dentist's office and have fixed in one visit. one thing to note, 85% of wisdom teeth are impacted, and impacted teeth can lead to future complications.
I know you can find cheap dental insurance plans (like $20 a month) that will do something like cover 50% of dental related expenses, but I don't know whether that applies to oral surgery or how long you need to be on the plan for coverage to apply to major procedures. That's something you'd have to spend some time researching.
Another option is you can usually get a consultation for little to no cost. At that time you could discuss with the surgeon a repayment plan in which you pay like $50 a month instead of all the cost upfront, if that could make it more affordable.
Good luck.
