So I had a lump at the base of my neck that popped up a few weeks ago... has over doubled in size in the past couple of weeks. Went to the doctor today at first they were like "It's just a swollen lymph node, here are some antibiotics"
And then they were all "Well it might be just a cyst"
And then it turned into "Possibly a tumor since you have a history of lymphatic tumors."
Which turned into "We're not entirely sure, we're gonna set you up with a specialist to get it imaged and biopsied."
So I get to go have my neck cut open and have it taken out next Tuesday (hopefully) assuming all the imaging says it isn't you know... connected to anything that is gonna bleed a lot and kill me.
And then got home and they called me and were all "There is a small possibility that it is
Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma since the last time we had to cut open your neck and get a biopsy you had a false positive that we never mentioned to you until now.
So now I'm sitting here and going... wait, I
might have cancer because I already tested positive for cancer that wasn't cancer?
