yeah I was thinking of the orig PD lol.
I didn't care much for zero, bought it, played through it ... sold it., I can pick it up from gamestop for seriously like 50 cents.

Drac, in FFXIV is there much need for a mule, you think? Also will it be like FFXI, $1/added character?
Also, I read somewhere that the fee will be $14.99/mo instead of the $12.95/mo that FFXI was, I'd hope there'd be no or less of a charge for added characters if that were the case.

It annoys me because it plays the video for about 2-3 seconds and then loads up the new player and restarts it. some videoes I cant even watch because it perma loops the loading

You can put stuff on your retainers, leave in the Inn, armoury chest, inventory etc. There's no real need for a mule to keep stuff

That's something different. It's a bug on their advertising videos loading code. :P

You sure? Because it loads the old player,plays for 2-3 seconds in that,then restarts in the new player? :P

As far as I know this is still their billing plans. you can pay "Entry" which is 12.99 for 1 character per server (up to 8) or Standard which is 8 characters per server (max 40).

Gear swapping in FFXI never bothered me. What bothered (and still bothers me A TON) is how the game is PURPOSELY coded to make you lose the target when people "blink" due to gear swapping.
That's STUPID and not needed. Programming wise, the fix should be just a simple change of how the client processes targets. A simple change on a few conditional checks.
It works that way because some idiot at Square thought it was necessary that people lost targets when people change gears.
Most likely reason of this is to cause stress between the healer and the tank (or at least force the two parties to interact about battle strategy). -_-;
