i do think we should draw a distinction between the "look at my IQ GUYZ" crowd

i think peer mediation and temporary topic banning is all good and fine. :D
but i think the "punishment" should fit the "crime" so to speak. I think formal warnings are key before actual moderation would be necessary though. albeit I'm not saying that it doesn't happen that way already for the most part. weez all human.

I typically post a "chill out" warning in a thread where multiple people are at risk of being topic banned. tl;dr - There's always a reason behind any sort of ban.
