I'm the one that brought it up lol.
He's definitely better off. He actually kinda waited on us to get to the vet, was already starting to go on his own. They brought him in a room with us and he wagged a bit at us, so I totally lost my ***. But now he's running around with our kids, destroying whatever is in their way and eating mud pies and more sticks he could ever have hoped for, so as much as it blows, I'd rather him be where that is.
I must admit being able to open cheese or a bag of chips without hearing the fatness being hauled in my direction is very odd still. He could be outside and hear you crack a bag of cheese lol
