Is there a Paradise Lost for Dummies? There's lots of old literature I'd like to read except I can't stand epic poem format and I can't decipher most of it anyway

I agree about PL. Yeah it's painful with Miltons writing style, but needed at points.

Yeah...

I've got an old copy lying around here somewhere. Maybe I will try again. I'm reading Frankenstein again and I know it makes a reference to PL. That's why I wanted to read it in the first place.

I'm not a Pokemon person so I'm not exactly sure of what I just saw, but it appeared to be something similar to Lucky 7's in FF7...?

flail does more dmg the lower your pokemon's HP is. in conjunction with entry hazards lowering the opponent's pokemon's HP it was enough to completely sweep the entire team of legendaries (except dialga which couldnt move anyway). ofc since all of those legendaries were 99% Action Replayed, they had no EV training and thus sucked balls, but still. Seeing a magikarp sweep an entire team of legendaries is hilarious

I read Frankenstein when I was in high school and loved it, and this reminded me that I don't have it, and so I went to Amazon to put it on my "books" wishlist, and then it kept listing books underneath that I didn't have, and every one of those listed more good books underneath them that I didn't have! Amazon suggestions are too accurate and out of control! I went from 72 books to 101 on the list! ;;

Okay, that helps make sense of it. I knew the Pokemon it was fighting were all supposed to be special or whatever, and that the Magikarp killing them was impressive... I just didn't quite get the specifics of what happened to make it that way.

The only Pokemon game I ever played was the Red one, and that was a long time ago.
