Ah, well since it is from SE it must be right! Thanks for bringing it to our attention. You have solved a year long mystery in the NA community!

Now I need to figure out why my results were 10% more than they should have been so I can fix it for the next time I do enmity testing. :/

While trying to figure out where the discrepency was coming from, I plugged that page into Google translate:

白の補遺&黒の補遺効果アップは敵対心20%軽減になる。

"Up effect of black & addendum addendum will be reduced by 20% of white hostility."

+2 looks like it is 20% if I'm reading right. The +1 is the one that is 10%.

Tranquil Heart testing:

It appears like there is -1 enmity per 10skill in tiers. I do not know how it functions at low levels because the lowest I can get my skill on whm is 426. It appears to cap at -25 enmity at 500skill.

Tested using Cure 5

You can set skill to zero on the test server if you have access.

You've got to be kidding me.

I've been complaining about savant+2 for years, and even made a post on the OF asking them to confirm that the body is actually working, and they go and spill the beans to the JP and not a word to NA.

Also I'm like 99% sure that people (including me, but what do I know) tested it and didnt see any sort of -enmity.

I specifically tested it using controlled nuke damage.

EDIT: I notice there's a portion of my wall that I havent punched a hole into yet, so let me ask this:

How long has that savant info been up on that JP wiki page?

The answer is far too simple to be legitimate. It would have been found out without SE's help very quickly if it were a simple -20% enmity on addendum spells. So either...

A) It's been broken and thus no one was able to find the effect

or

B) SE is incompetent as always

I do find it quite shitty that information like this is always fed to the JPs only, and NAs only catch wind if we happen to find it via magazine scan/stumbling upon it on a website and are capable of reading Japanese. Legitimate information or not, this isn't close to the first time it's happened.

They responded to my post on OF about a week or two ago saying that the effect is indeed working.

I personally think it was most likely broken when implemented, but since fixed. My results from when I did my first testing on it back in April were in line w/ 20% reduction, but I was attributing the inability to get constant results to the body, not tranquil heart.

That still implies Option B, btw.

But at least we know now what both of these do.

Someone check that JP wiki to see if they know what DRG pants do.
