I heard BLMs can throw some heavy nukes when Primeval Brew'ing, but I was wondering (before I spend 200k cruor on a brew), what about Spell interruption - I mean, compared to RDM chainspell we have some long casting do to.
And what Atma's did you guys pick for Shinryu brew fight?

Be shantotto and spam low tier nukes for absurd damage. Just make sure to say stuff she says while doing it. Also spam the laugh emote while casting.

If you'r gonna brew I assume you can 2hr aswell, and manafont is -100% spell interruption, so it should'nt be a problem unless you get knocked back etc.

I'd bring a staff and a club and try to go during blunt time and proc if you can

I brewed Shin the other night and was highly disappointed with my numbers. Had no problem killing, just pathetic numbers imo. Only 16k on my tier V's. 12k tier IV, 10k tier 3 and 7k tier 2. Ive seen some rdm's with numbers in the high 20k range on their tier IV's. What do I need to do to get mine up there? I am fully merited, casted on ice day, with my obi. Was this a fluke? Or did I fail miserably? Atma's were MM, Ultimate, and Apoc. Working on beyond still. >< So you know you're using gimp atma for brewing but you don't know why your brew damage is low.

/facepalm That explains it all.
I brewed Shin on Blm. Used Beyond/ultimate/MM atmas. Popped a Doom screen, then the brew. Was never interrupted of stunned. took three nukes. Bliz V for 42k, Freeze II for 29k, and another Bliz V for 41k~
Vidohunir works good brewing... not to mention inflicts -magic def

(It is possible to use it with merits and /rdm) If you have the correct sub, which would most likely be /rdm in the case of blm, I don't see why not
Why not just use cataclysm then? There's more dark magic attack+ atmas than wind.

(It is possible to use it with merits and /rdm) Especially if your mob is something like Isgebind that resists the *** out of wind moreso than the other spells assume /rdm Pretty sure the best way to brew on BLM is to change to RDM before popping the brew.
