What Grinds Your Gears?

What grinds my gears is all the noob with no subjobs leveling 20+ on Qufim Island, and have the nerve to blind invite you when you aren't lfp on Qufim Island....

Lucky for me, this hasn't happened, yet, but i haven't been near jeuno, or Quf in about a year (more Quf then jeuno)

Unfortunally, I'm trying to level SAM, but am missing 3 subjobs for them (at the time I started to level SAM, my RNG was 12, DRG was at 22, and THF at 17, now they are at RNG24, DRG31, and THF37) so I have been in noob land and noob island for a long time now.

If it wasn't for FoV, I wouldn't even bother with THF.....maybe DRG, hell no on RNG lol.

Solo ftw, I got 150 BSs so far from it all....

Yeah, I got a lotta bs's Solo' /Doun bst, i need to get back on that >.> make 500 exp chains at lvl 42 i cant wait ( apparently i can because i have no real urge to level BST any time soon, that job fun, but to much EXP down on some days )

Fields of Valor thing was both a blessing and a curse for me :(

I love the little buffs we can get with the points and bonus exp but hate the fact that I find a nice camp with nobody else there (Qufim), 10mins into exping day changes and a flurry of noobs soloing their pages show up out of nowhere killing off all your exp mobs.

YOU, America. YOU grind my gears.

The fact that this game doesn't have an autotranslate for a simple Yes/No. Has to be {Yes, please} or {No thanks} or adding /no and /yes.

Oh, and seeking hours on Cor and no invite.

If it makes you feel any better, COR is my absolute favorite job to have in parties. I would have invited you before anyone else.

when u tell a pt leader u have to go in about 15-20 min, he begs u to stay. then after 45 min and pretty much falling asleep u say last mob 3 times and he still keeps on pulling. I said thank you all for party and all i get back is, {fishing} Lesser colibry. I just disbanded right then and there and logged.

turned out it was the same dude that invited my hubby to a party, he ran all the way from the past to the party spot and then got a tell saying, oh sorry we don't need a dancer....

ppl like that really grind my gears.

What grinds my gears is how someone can sell something 20times in a row and I cant even sell one. It's not like Im selling for more then them. Hell even when I put in items just for 1 gil that one *** still keeps getting his ***sold!

I had to put my PCC up 6 times before it sold because people kept undercutting. 6! And AH tax is 34k each.

what grinds my gears a bit is NIN tanks who can't hold hate, especially when I'm playing as DRK. A bit more Enmity+ can always help since shadows reset hate a little. A critical hit swing of my scythe and I become an MP sinkhole. There's no love for DRKs!

As long as you're not one of those idiot DRKs (or DD's in general, for that matter) that like to WS the second the mobs in range cause they can. In that case, {Death}{You can have this}, and when I'm main healing, you most certainly will...

-- people trying to tell someone how to play, advice is cool to new peeps ,but we know what kinda people im talkin about.

and.. the dam AOEs in Campaign battle.. they suck! :)

On the people who cry for help part-- In a campaign battle once, some guy ran too far out in the marshlands and aggro'ed a silver or garnet or something quadav. He called for help, so I hopped off the campaign mob I was killing and onto his aggro to give him a hand. As soon as hate was off him, he went back to campaign mobs and left me and a few other people to clean up his aggro. Since then, I have seriously thought twice about helping people who call for help.

I've had that happen to me so many times.
Whenever that does happen, I let it kill me (I'm usually /Whm for RR anyway) and watch it return to the origional person and watch him/her die.

Or even better - get a bunch of links from other campaign mobs, so when they kill you; all will link back to the first person. My own super MPK D;

Yah I cand of left it at every man or woman for themself. Especially in campaign. To many times have I died helping or raised somone only to be left dead 30 min later. Same in ballista somtimes if I am a mage and a team is attacking me and another member and mymember starts screaming and hollering about cures because cure myself first it, I believe isn't my job to babysit its survival a challenge, not that I dont cure members when I can.

You know what really grinds my gears? This Lindsay Lohan. Lindsay Lohan with all those little outfits, jumping around there on stage, half-naked with your little outfits. Ya know? You're a... You're out there jumping around and I'm just sitting here with my beer. So, what am I supposed to do? What you want? You know, are we gonna go out? Is that what you're trying to - why why are you leaping around there, throwing those things all up in my, over there in my face? What do you want, Lindsay? Tell me what you want? Well, I'll tell you what you want, you want nothing. You want nothing. All right? Ok, as for those people who cry for help, I will only help if I can see the mob is close to the fort, otherwise its their own ***.

The AoE mmoves in Campaign do grind my gears also. Taking two Ore Lobs to the face that are worth 1900+ dmg in total is not a good thing.

As for Teh Doonz, I loathe that place. I see high level players level syncing there and I'm like OMFGWTFLOLLOOKATTHERETAWD!

Oh yeah, what grinds my gears are people who want "free" stuff. I'm sure you all have seen these lazy asskissers from time to time. They would be in ***gear, with "Will take free gear off your hands" in their Bazaar comment. Sometimes they'd walk right up to you and say "Gilz {Can I have it?}". Last time that happened to me, I gave the *** my used Dynamis Hourglass and told him to *** off :)

Blink tanking on birds piss me off to no end.

And Bad Paladins that don't know how to use Provoke/Flash and Cure themselves..
