What Grinds Your Gears?

>< I just went from "perfectly content" to "raging pissed off ***" in about 4 seconds flat.

K, so, the neighbor's idiot daughter fed my dog and 'helped' her dig under the fence by feeding her under it. I very politely went to the brat's father and told him that people food makes my dog sick, so I'd really appreciate it if his daughter would stop giving her food. I then blocked the hole securely. That was a week or two ago and we've had no more issues.

Then a few minutes ago I stuck my head out the door, the neighbor kid was on the other side of the fence again and Pixel was trying to dig under again. I yelled at Pixel to come inside and slapped her butt. I didn't say a word to the kid, didn't even act like I saw her. Kid ran into her own house crying, I suppose because she's a spoiled little princess who really wanted to coax the dog under the fence again and was upset when I spoiled her fun. A few minutes later the kid's dad showed up at our doorstep yelling about how I 'threatened' him when I went over last time to ask him to keep his little hellspawn from feeding my dog and how it's not his fault that my dog is trying to dig under the fence. Well sorry dipshit, but it kinda is your fault. You're feeding her? Hello? Anyhow, so he just stood on my doorstep for a good five minutes yelling at my husband about how I 'yelled' at him and 'threatened' him.

Oh it's on now, ***. I was nice last time. Get your damned brat child anywhere close to my fence again and you'll see me 'yell' and 'threaten.'

I'm going to be a hermit when I grow up. I've had like 4 good neighbors ever, and the rest were shitheads. I cannot stand living in close proximity to other people, and stuff like this is why.

You'd like living next to me. Well sometimes I can keep weird hours but I'm not noisy when I do.. We could trade foods and recipes >.>

Weird hours don't bother me. Even watching you dig a somewhat coffin-ish shaped garden hole wouldn't bother me, heh. If you came to my doorstep and started shouting to my husband about something that didn't happen, well, we'd have problems. I doubt you'd do that, though, just from what I know about you.

I have to assume that when his kid went inside crying he assumed we yelled at her, or else she told him we yelled at her. And if a stranger yelled at my kid, yeah I'd be on their doorstep raising hell too.

BUT. He could have verified her story, he could have refrained from lying about the perfectly civil conversation we had when I went to his place (I'm sure that if I had been in his line of sight instead of holding the dogs away from the door and he could have known I would hear him lying, he would have decided that was not in his best interest >.>), hell, he could have been actually keeping half an eye on his little brat so he could have seen for himself what happened. I can see where there could easily have been a misunderstanding because I don't know exactly what the little girl ran inside and told her father. But there is no *** way that someone comes to MY house and yells lies at MY husband without me being ready to kick their nuts so far up inside them that their nose bleeds. ><

Oh, and Pixel hurt her hips trying to get to whatever Baby Hellspawn was trying to feed her, scraped them up on the wood. I hate children.

Gift cards expiring.

I got a few B&N cards last year for xmas/my birthday and forgot about them with school and stuff, went to spend them awhile back and the money was gone... Amounted to something like $150 from a few friends, I was a little pissed.

After some research, I guess that used to be big business... Though it seems it's not acceptable anymore? Shouldn't have been to begin with... You already got the money, jerks...

Well while it's on my mind and we're on neighbors I hate my newest neighbors as well, the whole damn block does.. I don't mean this to sound racist <_< but they're the stereotypical trashy, hood-born Mexicans that blare Tejano on a system that cost more than the truck itself.. 8 in the morning, 9 at night, doesn't matter to them.. (One of my other neighbors are Mexicans too and I like them, they're nice and don't bother everyone.. they hate this other neighbor too though lol)

Every single time they leave their house they feel the need to burn out, but not a normal burn out.. Of course that's just too simple... Nope they floor it just until the tires start to slip and screech, then they tap the brakes and do it again and again and again until they hit about 30 MPH (takes about 2 blocks..) I don't have a *** clue why, but their whole damn family does it.. There's the people who live there, then they also get visited almost daily by two other vehicles who do the same thing...

They get visited a few times a day, and these people are too lazy to get the *** out of the truck and go to the door, so what do they do? Honk like a normal person? Nope... They honk AND rev the engine as loud as it will go (seriously I'm going to laugh my *** off when they blow a rod or something)..

I wish they'd just GTFO..

At least all the houses across the street (where they live) are rental properties.. There's no guarantee they'll even be here next month. If they bought the house I'd likely be stuck with them for a long time.

I don't think it's the first time... she has sworn before and there was similar discussion about her swearing.

I try not to cuss too much, but I am maybe a bit over-protective of my husband and my dogs. I guess the quickest way to make me the maddest I can get is to treat them in a way that I don't think is ok. My bad. /blush

Oh I know it happens a lot. It's just grinds my gears because I barley do anything to be bitched about and like i said above, don't even see this girl.

Well that would be hard because it's illegal to record someones voice without their permission and they would want voice to hear the conversation.

Maybe she's just bitching to ***? Not a good reason, but it happens. Maybe she's just using you as the scape-goat de jour, and it will pass tomorrow?

The best thing to do is not join in. That will just create a crap ton more that you don't want to deal with. Too many late-teens/early-twenty-somethings combined into a small space is going to be bad news sometimes. :/

It's a "security system" for the house. They're protecting their property and the camera just happened to be facing that direction. Nothing illegal there. :)

I don't think theres any conversation to be had with their kid digging under her fence and feeding ***to her dog.
