Once I get all of this, I will be ready to solo Faust- Melee Style.

Here's a good one: competition of any kind. It makes me wish sometimes we had full PVP just so I could kill anyone who was farming the same thing I was. Maybe then I could camp me some NMs finally.

That would be cool, something like, "<name> challenges you to a duel! Do you accept?" /accept /decline or w/e :3

That would be fun as long as you got a full reraise effect and no exp loss I wouldn't mind this at all.

Yeah, no EXP loss, but also not being able to camp the NM that you're both going for.

Sad to say, if this does happen (lol, yeah right D:), people might just come up with a hack that does some sort of insta-kill.

Last night standing in WG...a person was shouting for Imperial Gold Pieces to buy and was just spamming away being annoying...When there were 55 on the Auction House..........

I had said in shout, the AH has like 64 for sale. They replied: Well there's 55 now actually

So I said "Oh no! Better rush to the AH to buy them before they run out"

They kept shouting so a LS mate said maybe they wanted to buy them cheaper. Ok yea but the AH they fluctuate up and down and most were at 7k. So I said do you really think people are going to sell their imperial gold pieces for like 4k a piece? No said ls mate. Duh no of course not, they could just buy cheap and sell them at the price normally making a profit for themself. Anyone who sold them any are idiots in my opinion.

That did grind my gears a bit last nite

Why not blacklist the idiot thereby immediately removing the idiot's shout from your log...

I don't like blisting people, It's not like I stood there hours seeing it but just in the short time they did. So me being the idiot cause I didn't blist? nah I think the ppl who sold them the imp gold pieces are idiots

I was considering buying an E-bow when I finally saved up enough for the Osode, really I was! But then I thought, I could only use the bow on one job, and I could use the Osode on several jobs I would like to level, and I only have limited gil to spend (I'm poor ,~_~,) so I got the osode instead simply because it would get so much more use. I think I will go get the Selene's Bow, I like E-bow ever so much better but it's just not gonna happen right now and Sbow would be better for me than my bow. Then later if I ever get a chance, I'll get the Ebow! Yay! ^^ :D

Maybe someday I will. But right now I have college, work, homework, a family to care for, two nights a week of static assaults, two nights a week of dynamis, and frankly no time to be spending week after week of my life camping a monster that spawns once in awhile and has a miserable drop rate. If it was a forced spawn (trade an item to a ???) or if it had a halfway decent drop rate, then I would be more willing to spend time doing it, but as it is right now my real life comes first. Also, I would definitely need to camp it on thf, and my thf is too little to kill the NM right now. Vali's is just going to have to wait!

LOL I feel ya. Sometimes RL is the biggest NM that shouts {Defeat this one first!}

Once upon a time I /bled everyone that /shouted spam, be it tele-taxi, selling items, or other such annoying/stupid stuff. But then I found out your blacklist can only hold 100 people.

You know, you CAN just filter out all shouts...

lol... yeah... i turned on my shout filter a while back
not really any reason to blacklist that many ppl, you just cut out quite a few ppl from ever being able to talk to you... server only usually has between 2000-4000 ppl on it at any given time...

What tends to grind my gears is people who feel the obligation to put loud and irritating calls in every single macro they use. No I do not need to hear a whistle or gong in my ear every time you WS or provoke, plz STFU. To solve that I usually blist said player and unblist em after the party is over, but sometimes I forget to take em off >.>

#5. people who think its there job to tell me how to play mine.
#6. camp claimers (if your not killing monsters it ant your camp)

<call> is the worse for it too, I usually put <call14> when I pull something so its just the soft sound of a bicycle bell

I'd like to filter shouts, but there are some important things I'd like to hear, like what assaults are going on, etc. SE should make a chat channel for everyone advertising stupid crap so I can filter that.

Fake bazaar's, the ones with a flower in for 99mil, especially when the player has sold all their other goods in Rolan fields but the bazaar sign still shows because they got a damn flower left.
