steins gatw was really good, i highly recommend you to just go to your local free anime streaming site, and watch it without learning anything about it if you dont already know about it. its right in line with the best animes imo
The whole premise behind Psycho Pass gives me the shivers. Locking people up and drugging them up because some scanner says you are unstable. even though you have done nothing wrong. so everyone in society is like they have no heart, like they are the walking dead for fear of being locked up. and if the scanner says really unstable (i.e.: you just watched someone you love die and have an intense emotional reaction) the police kill you. had a hard time watching this.

Yeah but have to admit , it was pretty interesting story (even though its like a splice between minority report/ghost in the shell. I liked the animation and voice acting.
anyone know that has Netflix if their anime lineup has improved or not?
They have a few but it is hit or miss. Hulu actually has a large anime listing but it isn't well organized. Then you have the new comer crunchyroll that is specifically geared toward anime even having simualcast.
Not much into Anime and that sort of things, and definitely haven't read the thread besides this page, so idk if it's been mentioned. I recently came across Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis, and it's like my bread and butter of fantasy/anime/knights/sword/sorcery, it's pretty new and only 2 (maybe 3 by now) EPs out, but it's really good so far. I recommend it, and if it's been mentioned, disregard this post!
Hulu+ has some good anime, ghost in the shell is one I have been watching.
HULU has a large anime selection but the problem is it isn't sorted well and the dub and sub of a show is mixed together. They also have it where will have a few dubed episodes then it will suddenly switch to subed.
even though it's only 4 episodes in, i'm really liking Kiseijuu - Sei no Kakuritsu. Unlike a lot of so-called entertainment today that has zero depth, this anime brings up some really deep philosophical notions. There are cool action scenes too with lots of blood, gore, body parts being chopped off... for those of you that only find entertainment in that sort of thing.
Classic Gundam is generally good. Kill la Kill has an old school feel. It's a question of what do you mean by old school, because I think 10+ years older than those.
Just finished Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun. It was pretty hilarious. It's a shojo comedy that pokes fun at shojo comedies lol. Kind of like bakuman with the mangaka aspect but it's not the complete focus of the story.
just finished both hellsing and hellsing ultimate and recently mushi-shi. I'm watching bit last exile but looking for some more along the hellsing / mushi line or maybe something more cerebral
