is there a pc game thats out already that i could buy and install on my pc that if it would run good on my pc, then ff14 should/would run when it comes out next week??? example starcraft 2...

there's also the benchmark. that might take less time to download and such than the game would.

The benchmark is useless though. All of my computers failed it miserably. My laptop can play it fine though.

true, but if he can pass the benchmark with his rig, then it will definitely play fine come retail :P i agree though, the open beta is best to test on if you have the time to deal with it

Yeah, I recommend a better card. I'm actually in the process of getting my computer up and running with my new GTX 460. I'm downright giddy to see FFXIV run now.

So the benchmark isn't a good metric? I scored a 1200 on it and the website just says >2k LOLSUCKS2BU!!!

I'm gonna upgrade my computer gradually, but sounds like its playable as is.
