Astral Burn?

Does anybody do these anymore..? I just started playing again for the first time in years and I remember people ranting and raving about these. But it doesn't look like low-levels exist in this game anymore.

They still exist, but most people do Abyssea now for exp.

All the AB parties took everyone who wanted to level any said job past 12, and the people that didn't want to AB are now doing Dunes. Everyone post 30 is doing Abyssea leech to 75-85.


Dunes < Astral Burn < Abyssea.

It's actually kinda sad... lol once you ding 30 you hardly get invites anymore. People would rather just leech in abyssea and its kinda hard to do unless you have someone you know take you cause 90% or more people will say they don't need a chest opener. There are some SMN pts that exist and some people still try and charge others for it. When really; you can just abyssea and get more exp at a faster rate over time then with astral burning.

The new astral party consists of: 16party mates and a RDM/blm and a SMN.
RDM/blm+smn stay a bit away from the party. You astral flow Odin killing hopefilly 1-4 mandies of of 6~
Wait for intense light, repeat.

This is sorta like a "black-op" in ur own abyssea ally.

I've never taken a level 30 job to Abyssea.

As long as there are still level 12-13s, there will be Astral Burns.
