Never did like to use twitter much but I made a FFXIAH account since alot of people use it to stay in touch. I see it's increased utility when you are mobile. I will tweet /FFXI[AH]?/ related things.

I tend to be anti-twitter personally because I find the signal-to-noise ratio too low to be worth it, but I recognize it as an important medium. Also, I don't like how its limitations in communication (like 140 character limit) bring the rest of internet discourse down through the lowest-common-denominator nature of cross-post feeds.

The problem for me is that these days, people like to cross-feed all their various communication channels. Meaning whatever they say has to fit in the lowest common denominator. Example: I open my friends' blogs or Facebook pages and see nothing but 500 cross-posts of 140 character tweets. Annoying.
