Food is normally pizza. Don't normally have buffs since I mostly play with a couple friends. A lot of stuff won't be possible for me to get because I don't have the time to commit to an event ls.

So what kinda mobs do you fight? I'm assuming nothing with a lot of defense.

Yeah if you're fighting low def stuff (abyssea mobs, anything that isn't a turtle etc) use Raging Rush and King's Justice with 2hr, will give you more damage overall. Can always start a popped fight with a Steel Cyclone though.

I normally do use RR but I still like to have good gear for other things as well. If you feel the need to be a smartass please move on to another thread.

Actually, Steel Cyclone has one of the weaker attack boosts that single hit WSs get, so attack still does quite a bit for it.

Gross oversimplification.

Genbu's

75STR
70VIT+15VIT>85VIT

FTP1.5

STR50% VIT50%

STR75-67=8/4>2fSTR

75*.50 =37 + 85*.50= 42
37+42*.83 = 65WSC

D94+fSTR+WSC*fTP

161*1.5 = 241 DMG

Varangian

75+12STR > 87
70VIT

87-67 = 20/4 = 5fSTR

87*.50=43 + 70*.50=35
78*.83 = 64WSC

D94+fSTR+WSC*fTP

163*1.5 = 244DMG

So Genbu's wins. Though they break even if Helm is raising fSTR by 3 and similarly falls behind a lot if capping fSTR

Personally I'd use a Bomb Core or Thew Bomblet over the Shell.

Warrior can't use Thew Bomblet.

The whole argument is stupid. You say Varangian hasn't dropped but it is a 60% drop, so how many times have you really killed it? Solution: Go kill Khalamari again and until then use whatever the *** you want (Genbu's Kabuto).

60% drop rate my *** lol. Got mine today 1/21 and that was using TH4 half the time. Funny thing was we had no TH today at all and dorp ; ;

That's what I said it does. It doesn't raise it by 3 if you're already capping fSTR

Anywhere from 0-3 fsTR. Wouldn't even consider using SC if attack wasn't already pretty high. So yeah, basically if you're not capping fSTR it wins, otherwise > Kabuto

Capping fSTR on a 2h weapon is ridiculously hard to do on anything that matters.

It's still relevant and easy to cap on XP mobs.
