Just want to note, in regards to repairing equipment. When repairing the weathered hora, Pugilist weapon (And perhaps other bone equipment as well) the required class is Goldsmithing. It doesn't seem to make sense, but that's what it is.

I'm debating on if I want to make a 'known bugs' and/or an additional FAQ for common in game questions. Seems there are enough FFXIV sites already. Even threads on FFXIAH. Would be rather redundant.
Is there anything else that yall would like to see on my site? Don't do anything extra Krizz...your torrent site was enough of a contribution in my eyes and was much appreciated in answering about 80% of questions on the forums in one sentence.
How to fix FFXIV open beta: 1. look at Krizz's site 2. update ATI drivers 3. wait for maintenance to end Woo finally got on FFXIV :D But my graphics are half-assed since i'm using an ATI card, had to tone em down a bit.

If by "In Game Questions" you mean things like "What's a Battle Regimen?" then you could just point them to the Beta site. Tried updating again this morning, same error but did notice that while updater was downloading the patches, it did the whole "FFXIV has stopped working" thing. opened it back up and it finished downloading but gave me the same error code when it got to the install part. I think I may give up. Whats the point in the time and trouble when the damn servers can't even stay up.
I'm starting the whole download process over again. This has been a three day process so far.
anyone on that can pearl me? Veltan Pumore in/near limsalominsa

edit: NVM. must be just that one character.... *gives up* I played for maybe 10 minutes 2 nights ago, then yesterday morning started having errors with the new patch. If the answer ends up being do a complete uninstall/reinstall then f it. Should have known better than to think SE would give us a reliable game after they keep playing with FFXI.
It's Beta. It's not reliable.

And yes drivers are up to date.

I turned my settings all the way down in the config, still laggy. Was wondering if there's anything I can do outside of the config to make it run better. I know beta isn't reliable, but I could deal with plain crashes and maintenance, but all the problems people have been having with downloading/patching/updating, its rediculous. If it weren't for Krizz, 95% of AH wouldn't be playing. I wonder how many ppl outside of AH have actually found or been referred to Krizz's site. They should definately consider him for next mod when the time comes, at least the equivalent of a Medal of Honor.

Krizz's site is awesome, but it's going too far to think that no-one would have done this or downloaded the beta without it. I downloaded it through torrents which is relatively simple to do. I'm just as frustrated with patching/downloading/updating as you are. I'm still not in the game and I got my key three days ago.
