It would be neat to be able to the this if it wasn't too complex; having a priority system (like the friends list) to change the order the Item Sets are displayed on the Members Home and/or Character Profile Page, rather than having to delete older Items Sets and remake them, to get them in order.

I'd use this, but it's really not *that* important. I think think the whole homepage should be AJAXed out the wazoo with drag and drop everything ala iGoogle, My Yahoo (and probably Live or whatever MS's system is called).
It may take a reasonable amount of effort, but I'm pretty sure most AJAX toolkits support drag and drop so it may not. I think OP is trying to say..
I would like a way to sort the Item Sets by alphabetical order, or something of that nature. Maybe group your sets togather in some way like by job type. My item sets are all jumbled and I have a monk item set in the middle of my white mage item sets. I would LOVE to be able to sort this. Yeah, I have all my crafting sets mixed up with my Paladin gear wishlist sets XD

Yah running into the same problem with all my gear sets getting mixed about. Thirding said motion.
what's the point of item sets?
i see plenty points to it. gives good insight to new players to jobs. can learn what they should use for specific situations. awesome for making windower macros. just plain fun to mess with and/or simply show off builds.
item sets are one of my fav features on this site. My only issue with your first point is that new players won't know which people they should be looking at. Usually the people that say "My gear is the best" the loudest are the people that know sfa.
please please please can this get added. Im pretty OCD IRL and having sets mixed up SUX!

For now (when displayed on the Character pages) they'll be in alphabetical order.
