Yeah, if you dont have byakkos and have to use the Perle pants, might as well just use the full set.

Think you have some problem Darkmacabre, but thats beside the point. When I said full AH set what I meant was a set of haste gear that you can obtain purely from the AH that is better then full perle.

You can't "get more haste wearing other AH ***" If you don't own Byakkos. Turban/Dusk/Perle/Fumas is 13% haste and Full Perle is 14% Haste so yes, if you lack Byakkos for your sam, Perle would be your best bet.

Swift Belt: 4% Haste
Dusk Gloves: 3% Haste
Fuma Sune-Ate: 3% Haste
5 + 4 + 3 + 3 = 15% Haste, whereas full Perle gives 14%.
That's already more than full Perle...And if you happen to own Byakko's Haidate, that's even more.

Nabis is a legend xD, i personally think full perle rocks, its a all in one set xD if someone had turban, byakkos Hs, and a swift, full perle still better unfortunatly ; ;, full perle = 9% haste (2 legs 2 feet 2 hands 3 head, NA translation error on head, its actually 3.. :)) +5% from set which makes 14% haste = to turban BH and swift, also the head piece has attack and STR which will increse base dmg, legs have acc+10 dex+5 VIT+5 thts cool, add a swift to tht you got 18% haste...... full perle wins unless you got more haste gear than those main 3 which will put the BH set above 18% and u gain more base stats ^.^

How do you get a decent 6hit with full perle on is my question? Without gimping yourself severely. The haste is nice, but sam need more than brutal and rajas stp to get their 6hit.
My complaint with perle on sam was always the 6 hit, not the stats.

I have them, was asking why ppl are defending full perle on sam when it *** 6hit. Even w/o BH, you can still use perle legs and other ***for a proper 6hit.
PLM may be a different story, I never really use it on sam if i'm meriting on birds ill just use my drg, so maybe PLM can get 6hit with full perle, but in general I see it as horrible for sam.

It really depends on what your using. If your using 450 you run into some trouble wearing full perle, but if you happen to be using one of the new 464 gks then its all good. Personally im working on http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Trial_1599 since I lack hagun and I can get this in about a day.
Am I missing something that a lot of sams on my server are catching on too? I'm not big headed, I looked at the set when it came out and it didn't look that great for sam but maybe I should look again?
