What is YOUR name going to be in the FFXIV Beta?
You have to pick 2 names. Like a first and second.
That is a nice system (name/surname) I think. Certainly helps out all those "Cloudstrife"-s and "Deadsephiroth"-s out there. Or even the "Tigerwoods"-es, but maybe he'll make it "Tigerwoods Attorneyatlaw" or "Tigerwoods Masterandcommander" or something now. :p

90% of the last names are going to be some cheesey japanese derivative.
I dont have a clue as to what to choose for a last name. Choosing a single name was hard enough. Currently Ive gotten these recommendations: Daus Sonscreek (Dawsons Creek) Daus Age (sounds like Sausage!) Daus Epookins (dausypookins is my skype name) but I might go with Daus PK...ooooor Daus Erpepper! DR PEPPER FOR EVERYBODY!

I don't plan to play FFXIV, but if I did, I might choose:
Tiger Lily Liela Jade Snow Flower White Magnolia Winter Lily Liela Faline Liela Snow Well, none of those sound quite right :/ but oh well. I'd want something that had either Lily, Liela or Magnolia in it, and since my favorite color is green and my favorite season is autumn/winter, those would be cool to add. Faline is a pretty name (fay-leen), but since it means feline-ish, it would be a bit excessive for a Mithra. Obviously if you are mithra, you are already feline-ish. You don't need it in a name to point that out. I was born in the year of the Tiger, so something mentioning tigers would be cool too I suppose.

Since the other beta thread got bumped off thought I might inquire here.
You could not log in because the service account in question is not registered. If you would like to log in to the service, please log in to the Square Enix Account Management System and register the service account. Anyone else get that message? To anyone in the beta test, SE posts this specifically :
- Testers are not to divulge any information regarding the tests conducted during the Alpha/Beta Test period to those not involved in the testing process. This includes all non-official game and/or fan sites. Testers will be informed when such information is to be released to the public. FIRST RULE ABOUT XIV BETA

Just a random question if anyone has any idea, if I pick a name now that I like for the Beta does that mean I won't be able to use it when the game officially comes out ?
