So I go to check prices on both of these today because my LS was talking about them, and on my Server:
Dusk Gloves = 20k
Mahatma Slops = 100k
Umm....used to be
Dusk Gloves = 100k
Mahatma Slops = 300k+
So people thinking that Aurore/Perle Hands > Better than Dusk Gloves for TPing since you're sacrificing 1% haste for extra stats, while those stats mean little to nothing since you're TP'ing not WS'ing.
And people think Teal Slops > Mahatma for everything. Yea, they're better for nukes, but they do NOT beat Mahatma for MND based enfeebs or Stoneskin.
Your thoughts?

People in general are too compulsive. They will all be looking to rebuy the mahatma eventually when they realize that it is still great for Helices, enfeebles and stoneskin.

Wearing the whole Perle set makes the Perle hands worth it so that's why people are selling their dusk hands for Perle. As far as Mahatma goes, all those BLMs who used them are trading them in for Teal and most BLMs don't really care about MND enfeebles and it's already pretty easy to cap stoneskin without Mahatma.

People are selling things for cheap cause most likely by next update they will be obsolete (at least @ the new level)

The full perle set is ***though for wars with BH, drks with homam ect. However dusk gloves are where they shud be. Behemoth/KB arent new HNM, they have been killed every day for years. After so many matts get put into the market ofc it will drop over time.
I'm just glad that instead of seeing full AF drgs at 75, i'm now seeing full perle drgs at 78+. No full perle isn't amazing but it beats the hell out of full AF.....

I'm not shitting on ppl who use perle and DONT have the BH/homam to break the haste perle gives, but I mean ***, if your doing it so u dont have to use dusk.... omg. Just bring up equip menu and take it off or like 90% of ppl ingame, use ws macro to swap to ws gear....
Edit: Surely you don't ws in in dusk too or u have a ws swap macro right? ....right?

Well, I WS in AF+1 hands, which dominates Perle hands, so it would be an arguable downgrade there. I suppose the appropriate course of action would be to buy the hands as one of my last pieces to complete the set and then dump my dusk gloves. Not that dumping the gloves early wouldn't be tempting. I bought all 3 sets for the hell of it and put them on a mule. cept for a few teal peices for blm. I got 100k cruor in one group so i figured why not. They need to make it storable. Plan to use body on drg, and legs for ws on drg... other than that meh.
