My guess is your graphics card is choking you right now. You have a better processor than I, yet I score around the 2k mark, the rest, except the card, is virtually identical.

Well i was checking the graphics card on FFXIV official site and they say u need minimum ATI Radeon HD 2900 so it makes no sense to me. I do know that my HD 4350 is still a lower end graphics card but it still passes the requirements they are recommending its weird.

Well if you know you are willing to upgrade anyway if need be, you can just wait until the game comes out and buy it. Test it on your computer for sure if you truly need to upgrade or not. Plus a new videocard you may be considering might be cheaper in the future since computer hardware gets better.

I think the benchmark program was just to test out if they can trick people into thinking they need to buy better hardware, rather than actually testing their current setup lol.

lol yeah its probably best to wait guess we will see what happens. The way i see it is if my graphics card is better then the min requirements it will work. Screw the stupid benchmark heh.

I ran it in high resolution and got a score of 1696. Is that even a good score? 3080 in normal mode.

Thats a good score.

Im using Win7 64-bit
Intel Core2 Quad @2.83GHz
Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS

Low - 2101
High - 1168

Would be better if i had enabled SLI mode but currently FFXIV wont play using SLI on many Nvidia cards (crashes). Hopefully this will be fixed before the general release. If not gogo new graphics card/cards just to make it look extra pretty~

That graphics card is killing you I think.. Upgrading to a ATI Radeon HD 5770 or 5780 should push you around 2500 on low I think
